Thumb Print Cookies



The best of a thumb print cookie… the raspberry jam. This recipe was given to me from a family member, as most thumb print recipes do, and I’m forever grateful for her sharing it with me. They’re the best and the perfect addition to any family gathering.


Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of butter

3/4 cup sugar

3 eggs yolks

3 cups flour

1/4 cup powdered sugar

Seedless Raspberry Jam


Instructions:

- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dough then chill for 20 minutes.

- Roll dough into small balls. Push finger into the ball to form the print.

- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Don’t let the cookies get brown!

-Allow to cool. Add the jam. Sprinkle powdered sugar.
