Another one... No Churn S'mores Ice Cream. In a perfect world, I'd like for the marshmallow to have a toasted flavor; I'm still trying to figure that part out. So, once I have an update I'll share. BUT this ice cream is still fabulous without the fire. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Ingredients:
2 cups of heavy cream
14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp clear vanilla extract
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 cup of Hershey's cocoa powder
1 bag of Dove Milk Chocolate
Fluff
Golden Grahams cereal
Instructions:
A few hours before you want to make this ice cream, unwrap all of the individual Dove chocolates. Chop them up, and put them into a bowl or zip lock bag. Then put them in the freezer.
Place a large stainless steal mixing bowl in the freezer 30 minutes prior to making this recipe.
In a separate medium bowl combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Set aside.
Remove the large bowl from the freezer and add the heavy cream and cocoa powder. Use an electric mixer on high speed to beat together until stiff peaks form.
Slowly add the condensed milk mixture to the whipped cream mixture, and continue to mix on medium speed as you're adding.
In a small microwavable dish, microwave about a cup of fluff for 30 seconds. Then mix so that it's becomes a little more liquid-y and is easier to work with.
Begin scooping out the cream mixture 1/4 cup at a time into a tupperware or ice cream container. In between each section, drizzle the fluff over the scoop of cream that was just placed in the container. Then crumble up some Golden Grahams, and sprinkle over the fluff. Lastly, sprinkle some of the chopped up Dove chocolate over the Golden Grahams.
Using a fork, lightly mix everything that's been put into the container. Then, continue layering like this and slowly mixing after each layer until you reach the top.
At the very top, be sure sprinkle more Golden Grahams and Dove chocolate.
Cover and freeze for a least 5 hours, but if you want it to be on the harder side, allow it to freeze overnight.
