Nothing says 90's nostalgia like a dinosaur themed graham cracker dunked in funfetti frosting. I'm not sure what my favorite part about this recipe is. Is it the fact that it doesn't require an ice cream maker to make it? Or the fact that this is a Dunkaroo in ice cream form? I can't decide. This no churn Dunkaroo ice cream will immediately put a smile on your face, whether you're 6 or 36.
Ingredients:
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons clear vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
2 cups heavy whipping cream chilled
Teddy Grahams, as many as you want
Funfetti Frosting, as much as you want
Blue Food Coloring, about 6-7 drops
Instructions:
Place a large stainless steal mixing bowl in the freezer 30 minutes prior to making this recipe.
In a separate medium bowl combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt. Set aside.
Remove the large bowl from the freezer and add the chilled heavy whipping cream and food coloring. Use an electric mixer on high speed to beat together until stiff peaks form.
One cup at a time, add the condensed milk mixture to the whipped cream mixture, and continue to mix on medium speed as you're adding.
Crush up the Teddy Grahams and fold them into the cream mixture.
Fold in the sprinkles from the funfetti frosting... and add more sprinkles if you're like me and can never have enough rainbow sprinkles ;)
Microwave 1/3 cup of frosting in a small dish. Set aside.
Begin scooping out the cream mixture 1/4 cup at a time into a Tupperware or ice cream container. In between each section, drizzle the melted frosting over the scoop of cream that was just placed in the container. Continue laying like this until you reach the top.
Once the container is almost full, sprinkle rainbow sprinkles and broken up Teddy Grahams over the top.
Cover and freeze for a least 5 hours, but if you want it to be on the harder side, allow it to freeze overnight.
