These Instant Pot Ribs are super tender, delicious, and fall right off the bone! Gone are the days where ribs need to cook in the oven low and slow. These ribs cook in 23 minutes, and only need a few extra minutes on the grill or in the oven to crisp up.
Ingredients:
1 rack of ribs about 1 1/2 - 2 pounds
1 cup of broth or water (I used chicken broth)
4 cloves of garlic, minced
6 Tbsp of a dry rub (I used McCormick Grill Mates, Smokehouse Maple Seasoning)
BBQ Sauce
Instructions:
Rinse the ribs and pat dry. Then remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs.
Massage the dry rub into the ribs.
Place the Instant Pot trivet in the bottom of the Instant Pot. Add the broth or water.
Place the ribs on the trivet. Add the minced garlic over the ribs.
Close the lid, select manual pressure and set the timer for 23 minutes.
Once complete, allow the Instant Pot to natural release for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, open the valve to release the remaining pressure.
Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and broil or grill until crispy. I grilled mine on medium heat for about 10 minutes on each side, and they were perfect.
Add more BBQ sauce once removed from the grill while they're still hot. Then slice and serve!
